Dr. DM Thampi

Dr. DM Thampi, Dean, College of Fisheries, Panangad retired on February 1, 2002. Dr. Thampi was the Member of Executive Committee and General Council of KAU. He was also a member in the Special Task Force to coordinate and implement speedy development in fisheries sector, by the Government of Kerala.

Dr. K Kumaran, Director of Research i/c retired from service on May 29, 2002. He was the Associate Director of Research at the Regional Research Station, Ambalavayal and at the KAU headquarters.

Prof. PK Unnikrishnan Nair, Head, Pepper Research Station,Panniyur retired on April 15, 2002. He has made significant contribu-tion for the release of the black pepper varieties Panniyur-6 and Panniyur-7
