Tree planting Programme
The College of Forestry celebrated this year's Independence Day by embarking on a one day massive tree planting programme at the Mannuthy campus of the University. Dr. K. V. Peter,Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the programme. About 1000 trees belonging to 10 tree species such as rose wood, venga, ungu, karimaruthu , mahagany, matti etc.were planted. The NCC Cadets from all the constituent colleges of the University participated in the programme.
