Dr. N. K. Vijayakumar, Professor and Associate Dean of College of Forestry, who is to retire on superannuation in September 2007, has been awarded the coveted position of Emeritus Scientist for two years by ICAR for his project “Standardization of clonal propagation through micro and macro propagation techniques in Jatropha curcas”. He will be attached to the College of Forestry during this period.
