The Kerala Agricultural University has bagged the third position among the agricultural universities at the national level for securing the third largest number of fellowships in the JRF/SRF examination conducted by ICAR during the year 2006. The Director of Academic & PG Studies, KAU received the trophy for this achievement from the Hon'ble Union Minister for Agriculture, Shri. Sharad Pawar on 21^st Feb 2007 at New Delhi.
